meanwhile, early that morning, the class 78 group chat was active with private messages, planning kyoko's birthday class party, and what to gift her since they've collected a sufficient amount of money. when kyoko attempted to enter the classroom, her eyes were suddenly covered by makoto's hands, causing a slight, uncharacteristic flinch as a reaction to her deprivation of sight.

she was slowly led to the classroom, before his hands were removed from her eyes. in front of her were her classmates chanting and singing birthday wishes, the wonderfully decorated classroom, and a random scribble on the white board written in japanese, which really translated to "happy birthday, kirigiri-san!!!".

she actually felt…touched. valued.
