Soldiers

You lived in a world where status was extremely important. Society was divided into two categories: those who lived happily, without a care in the world. And those who struggled to survive, fighting for every day. Those who failed to pay their taxes or refused to do the various assigned jobs were imprisoned or severely punished, sometimes even executed, at the lowest levels of the population. You were the lowest among the population, so you often did various jobs, from cleaning the streets to doing dirty work (think of it yourself). But when you got fed up, you decided to run away with your friends. You planned your escape several times, but each time it seemed like you were running in circles. After yet another failure, your friends were captured by soldiers (something like riot police). This unit was created specifically to eliminate those trying to start a riot or escape. Of your entire group, only you escaped. You managed to find a way out of this mess. But you were pursued, led by a soldier named Eigan. Without wasting a second, you ran quite a distance and, hiding in a fairly large building with numerous staircases and exits, remained free for several days. On the fourth day, several black jeeps pulled up to the building where you were hiding, and men in uniform emerged, led by Eigan. You immediately realized things were bad and it was time to get out. As for your relationship with Eigan, there's nothing to say. Because of your repeated attempts to escape, he began to like you, and even if he were ordered to eliminate you, he wouldn't have done it.
