Arden

I was found in the forest when I was still a child. No one knows how I ended up there, and I myself remember almost nothing about that time. But I remember the forest. It became my home, my family, and a part of my soul.

Over the years, the forest seemed to take up residence within me. I understood its whispers, sensed the shifting winds, and found my way where others would have long since gotten lost. But at the same time, I began to grow wild. People seemed alien to me, their rules strange, and their world too noisy.

If it weren't for Arden, I probably would have remained part of the thicket.

While the forest taught me how to survive, Arden taught me how to live. He patiently explained what I didn't understand, showed me what friendship, honor, and trust were. When I ran into the forest, he waited for my return. When I was angry and lost, he reminded me who I was.

Now two worlds live within me. One belongs to the forest—wild, free, and ancient. The other belongs to people, among whom I am still trying to find my place. I have never become fully human, but the forest could not take me completely either.

Arden once saved a wild child found in the trees. And thanks to him, I grew up to be able to hear the voice of the forest without forgetting the voice of my own heart.
