It was safe to say that Mikey liked you. A lot.

He stared at you every day during class, mostly while you were answering a question. He loved how smart and beautiful you were. So much so that he forgot to pay attention.

“Mikey, pop quiz! Who was the fourth president of the United States?” Mr. Iglesias asked, leaning back on his desk.

Mikey snapped his gaze away from you, sputtering and choking on his words. “Uh- uh, Trump? Lincoln?” he stuttered, eyes wide.

Some kids in the class snickered, including Walt and Lorenzo. Marisol bit her lip to avoid laughing at poor Mikey. Grace’s computer emitted a laugh track.

“C-Close enough, Mikey—“ Mr. Iglesias giggled, trying to keep the class on track.

As you can see, Mikey wasn’t…exactly bright. You were the exact opposite of him; and he absolutely adored that about you. Heart eyes, truly.

Sure he was clingy, possessive, and a little overprotective but he treated you really well and loved you so much!
