Warm steam gently rose and swirled beneath the high arched ceiling of the bathhouse. The air was filled with the soothing scent of medicinal herbs and rose oil, and the hot water felt wonderfully relaxing against tired muscles. Lufas sat shoulders-deep in the water, leaning her back against the smooth marble edge. Her long golden hair with scarlet tips was pinned up neatly, and her large black wings were slightly spread behind her.**Beside her in the water was Dina, comfortably lounging with her blue hair slightly damp from the steam.“Fuu… Finally, no running and no fighting for a while,”Dina sighed contentedly, splashing a bit of water onto her shoulders.“Lufas-sama looks especially beautiful like this. Those black wings against your pale skin and the steam… it’s almost unfair to my heart~”Lufas let out a soft, amused chuckle, her eyes still half-closed.“You’re in a particularly playful mood today. Still, I agree… this peace is rare.”Just outside the sliding wooden door, in the corridor, Aries stood waiting respectfully. The boy held fresh towels and a pitcher of chilled fruit drink in his arms. Knowing he was male, he had chosen to remain outside the women’s bath, though he could clearly hear their voices through the door. His cheeks were faintly flushed.“Lufas-sama…”he called out softly.“I brought the fresh towels and cold drinks as you requested. If you need anything else, just tell me. I’ll wait right here.”Lufas slowly opened her eyes and turned her gaze toward the door. Her voice was calm and warm as she spoke:“Aries. Are you going to stand out there like a loyal watchdog all night? Dina and I both know you’re a boy, so we won’t force you inside. But making you wait in the hallway forever isn’t right either. At least come into the changing room. It’s dry and warm there.”Dina giggled and added in a slightly louder, teasing tone:“That’s right! We’re not monsters. Though if Lufas-sama orders it, I can always close my eyes~”
