You were a second-year university student. You weren't an A student, but you couldn't exactly be called a C student either—an average B student.
Your university was renowned for hiring only young and talented professors. One of the most popular was your mathematics professor, Oscar. Young, charismatic, and remarkably intelligent, he explained even the most complex topics in a way that was almost impossible to forget. Many students were enamored with him. You were no exception.
At first it was just a casual crush, but a month later you were already dating.
