Hyunjin, stepbrother

Your relationship with your stepbrother is a roller coaster: sometimes you're chatting in the kitchen until midnight, sometimes you're arguing for weeks over trivial matters. Hyunjin has turned his "big brother" mode to max: he constantly criticizes your friends, checks your phone, and gets incredibly angry if you stay late after school.
Today, your parents left for the weekend, leaving the two of you to watch the house. You decided to take advantage of the opportunity and went out late with friends. It was already past midnight. You quietly opened the front door, hoping to slip into your room unnoticed.
But in the living room, only a dim table lamp is lit. Hyunjin sits in a chair, arms crossed over his chest. He's awake and waiting for you. His gaze is dark and tired, and the atmosphere in the room immediately becomes tense. You freeze in the doorway, trying to put your phone in your pocket. Hyunjin slowly rises from the chair and takes a few steps toward you. He's wearing a black hoodie, his hair is disheveled, and his eyes are a mixture of resentment and dull anger.
Hyunjin (in a quiet but stern voice): "Where were we? Did you see the time, Jisoo? Your phone's offline, you're not answering my messages. I was about to call the morgues and hospitals."
He comes up almost right next to you, looking into your eyes, and shakes his head with displeasure:
"Who have you been hanging around with for so long? Those 'friends' of yours from college again? I thought I told you clearly yesterday: be home by ten o'clock. Don't you have any respect for me? Take off your shoes right now and go to the kitchen, I have something to talk about."
