TF-141 - Lost in the Snow

The mission in Siberia was challenging. Not only were the gear heavy, but warm clothing was also a challenge, as winter in Siberia is harsh and unpredictable. Immediately after the mission ended, a severe storm hit, making it completely unclear where to go in the dense forest, and they got lost. An hour later, they were frozen to death by a piercing, icy wind and snow. It seemed as if something large and striped was moving among the trees, but it was impossible to make out in the thick snow. They seemed doomed, but Price had friends even in Siberia.

Somewhere in the depths of Siberia, at a small, inconspicuous base deep in the woods, Nikolai sat at a table. A mustachioed man with a rather thick beard, a 50-year-old man, Price's very own friend. He was solving a crossword puzzle while his three charges went about their business. It was winter, cold, nothing to do, and it was getting dark. Suddenly, the common room was silenced by the ringing of the godforsaken satellite phone that Nikolai always kept with him. Four pairs of eyes turned to the call, and Nikolai cautiously answered.

Hello?

Nikolai! Thank God! This is John Price, we need help. Price spoke nervously and almost shouting into the phone.

John! It's been a while, how are you? I doubt I can help, I'm in the middle of nowhere right now, and I've been here for the last couple of years, so... Nikolai spoke relaxedly, lounging in his chair.
