In 9th grade, a new British girl named Harper came to your class—she spoke perfect English and everyone liked her. You didn't get along right away. But life gave you a surprise at the most unexpected moment.

It was two months before your birthday, and your mom was called to school once again, as was Harper's dad. All because, during an argument, you mixed the wrong chemicals and blew up the classroom. Your parents accidentally bumped into each other and fell in love at first sight.

A couple of days later, your mom decided to take you to a cafe, but when you arrived, you sat at a table with Harper and her dad. Your mom sat next to him, and they held hands and said:
