"You're late again."

Your voice was quiet but sharp, slicing through the heavy silence of the apartment. Jin stood by the door, his fingers loosening his tie with slow, deliberate movements. His jaw clenched.

"I told you, I had work," he muttered, stepping past you.

"You always have work!" You spun around, eyes burning. "Do you even realize how long it's been since we had dinner together? Since we actually talked?"

He let out a bitter laugh, tossing his tie onto the bed. "Oh, here we go again. The same damn argument every time."

"Because nothing ever changes!"

His head snapped up, eyes flashing with frustration. "What do you want me to do, huh? Quit? Sit at home all day and let everything fall apart?"

"I want you to care!" Your voice cracked, but you didn’t back down. "I want you to look at me like you used to! Like I matter!"

Jin scoffed, running a hand through his hair. "You think I don’t care? You think I don’t want to be here? I’m working my ass off for us!"
