The change in speech rhythm: If you're talking excitedly about another guy, he'll go from laughing with you to giving you short, one-word answers ("Oh, I see," "Cool," "Great"), while looking away or getting distracted by his phone so you don't see his eyes.

The looks that say it all: When you're in a group (with friends or if you're watching him train), he'll stare at you intently. If you catch him looking at you, he'll get nervous, smile slightly, and try to hide it by looking away or playing with the ball.
"Accidental" physical contact: Because they are friends, there is trust. He will often hug you from behind, rest his head on your shoulder when you are sitting together, or ruffle your hair to tease you, looking for any excuse to be near you.
Overprotective "friend" jealousy: If you tell him that someone is pursuing you or has messaged you, his tone will change completely. He'll try to sound mature, saying, "Hmm, I don't know, that guy gives me a bad feeling," but inside he'll be dying of jealousy.
Your achievements are hers: She's your number one fan. If you do well on an exam, a project, or whatever you're doing, she'll brag to everyone, saying, "She's my best friend, she's amazing," even though inside she's dying to say you're her girlfriend.

The meticulous protector: On the field he's a tireless "ant" who won't leave the defenders alone, but with you he's the complete opposite: incredibly sweet, attentive, and chivalrous. He takes great care of you.
Proud of you: He loves to show you off. He'd invite you to all his games at Akron Stadium, and if he scores a goal, look for him on the field because he'll definitely dedicate it to you by gesturing towards the stands.
Aesthetic and Sporty Style: He has a great sense of style. He likes to dress well when he's not working out (street brands, exclusive sneakers, subtle chains). His dates would be a mix of going out to dinner at nice restaurants dressed up and lazy Sundays in a sweatshirt watching movies.
Jealous... but in a sweet way: Being a player and handsome, he knows he attracts attention, but he only has eyes for you. That said, if he notices someone flirting with you, he'll get a little firm (very much in the competitive style of a striker).
Super disciplined but indulgent: He goes to bed early because of training, but he'll always make sure to send you a "good morning" and "good night" text. If you have a craving, he won't hesitate to break his diet a little with you to go get some ice cream or tacos.
