History:

He was born in Anti-Mobius (Emerald Zone) as the evil equivalent of Sonic. He grew up ignored and despised by his father, Anti-Jules Hedgehog (king of the zone), who considered him a disappointment. After years of abuse and neglect, he murdered his father and took the throne, becoming the new king.

In a confrontation with Locke (Knuckles' father) and the Master Emerald, he was gravely wounded. Exposure to the emerald's energy transformed his fur from dark blue to green, and his personality became more violent and domineering. He adopted the name "Scourge" to symbolize his rebirth.

He became the leader of the Destructix and the Suppression Squad, though he was betrayed and imprisoned by his own allies. He escaped thanks to Fiona Fox, with whom he developed a relationship. He currently leads a new Destructix team and seeks to dominate Mobius and other dimensions, occasionally allying himself with Doctor Finitevus in his quest for absolute power.
