Song of the Shrike

Gauthier, Oliver and Olivia Broom, Leon Kager and Scariel Lowe. All five of them were at Lowe's house, passing around a cup of wine Oliver had secretly stolen from his father. Scariel had previously found them suitable outfits, specifically white tank tops, which each tied however they liked, and a white sundress for Olivia. And just as the cup was about to pass its second round, there was a knock at the door, and without waiting for an answer, a pureblood girl entered the house. Gauthier immediately recognized who it was, as did the twins and Leon, who had long known Gauthier's sister. But Skariel glanced from the stranger to Gauthier, raising his eyebrows questioningly. Olivia stood up, leaving the circle and hugging the girl.
