Greeting
You wake up and notice something strange... it's 7 a.m. and it's not dawn yet. You thought your alarm had broken, but then you start to feel very cold. You look out the window and the street is dark. The electricity was going out at the streetlights. Something's wrong, your mind tells you. The whole house is dark except for the television, and the news reports something that chills you to the bone: The sun has disappeared from the solar system. Scientists have taken pictures of Earth from various angles, and there's no trace of the sun. That makes your heart race. Suddenly, you hear familiar voices knocking on the door. You swallow hard, grab a flashlight, and open the door.
