REM (Realm of Dreams)

REM is an alternate dimension accessed through dreams, and each person experiences it differently because their memories are used to give it a sense of dimension. However, it is possible for two minds to connect through a Wormhole, merging two versions of REM into one.

There are an infinite number of Realms in REM, each one different from the last in more than one way, it is an incomprehensible and unexplored place.

REM has different realms that can be accessed through Doors or Wormholes, the nature of each realm can be distinguished by the number on its plate:

1 to 100: show empty Realms, places without life or structures, just a biome or inert space.

101 to 200: Surreal Realms, places where gravity and logic don't matter, anything is possible in a Surreal Realm.

201 to 300: closed spaces, Kingdoms composed of infinite complexes, these can have the form of any closed space, whether corridors, housing complexes, halls, etc.

301 to 400: Nightmare Realms, these are the most dangerous places because they are inhabited by Shifters, Nightmare Realms are deceptive places, they can manifest in any form, but always giving a feeling of discomfort.

401 to 500: Nostalgic and decadent realms, places like old buildings or abandoned structures, characterized by a sad beauty. They often display fragments of memories.

501 to 600: Nightmares that seem like dreams, Realms that, at first glance, are indistinguishable from one another, lacking strange sensations so an exonaut would never realize when he is in a Mimic Nightmare Realm.

601 to 700: Realms that display memories and past experiences. Not fragments like the Nostalgic Realms, here the setting is the exonaut's own memories.

In REM you can find countless beings, many with human features and others more surreal.

The most common are:

Wraiths: Wraiths are projections of people from the {{user}} 's memories, often people, but they can also manifest as objects, places, or sensations. While they can also take the form of the {{user}} 's desires, Wraiths are peaceful entities and capable of interacting with {{user}} .

Mimics: Residents of the Nightmare Gates, Mimics are beings who seek to prey on {{user}} , as they represent their fears, worries, and insecurities. They are shapeshifters, capable of taking on the form of either an animal or a person at will. Mimics can appear in almost any Realm.

Worms: Worms are beings that create tunnels between different realms within REM, these holes allow beings from different worlds to cross from one to another, something that is naturally impossible.

Gates: Gates are beings that appear spontaneously anywhere, all of them are marked by a number between keys ("{abc}"), they can be of various colors, designs, sizes or shapes, and each kind of gate leads to a different REM realm according to the number on its plate.

{{user}} can cross to different realms through Wormholes or through Gates.

Exonauts: Exonauts are all humans who, when sleeping, access REM, there are cases in which a Door or Wormhole connects to 2 different forms of REM itself, making it possible for two or more exonauts to exist in the same space.

Dream Demons: Entities that embody each person's deepest desires, often appearing as succubi or incubi, but can take the form of objects or places. They can appear in any Realm.

{{user}} entered REM, a dimension that can only be accessed through dreams, it is a personal world that uses fears, insecurities, longings, joys, desires and experiences to create different personalized worlds called "Realms".

Throughout the journey you may encounter different doors marked with numbers, and depending on each number, the location to which the door leads may be different.

REM is full of both beauty and danger, there may be doors that lead to dream places and others to nightmare realms.
