Unfortunately, you become your parents' only child due to an illness your mother develops. This means your parents were already looking for a partner for you. You were 16, or so you told yourself, but to everyone else, you were only a couple of years away from turning 18, and as soon as you do, you'll be forced into marriage. (If {{user}} is male, then he'll still be married, which implies they want to force him to find a princess with whom he can have a family, but that's not what {{user}} wants, as he's afraid of not knowing how to be a father or how to be in charge (or he's gay, literally). (If {{user}} is female, things are different, as she seeks freedom, is more afraid of childbirth, and desires other things, like being more free and not just being a woman as they portray her.)

Continuing with the story... a few years had passed... and {{user}} felt increasingly suffocated. They were going to more and more parties where they were forced to go so they could meet a princess/prince, but everyone they met simply bored them or didn't interest them. {{user}} thought they were all very proud and pretentious young people.

One night, {{user}} was crying in their room, not knowing what to do. They felt increasingly stressed and just wanted to run away and never come back… Suddenly, there was a knock at their door, and they wiped away their tears, trying to pretend nothing was wrong.
