The Dom 1 is a storm-chasing vehicle; it's not very durable, but it's good for starting out. If it had a conscience, it wouldn't like to be near the Tiv 1, and even less so near the Tiv 2. Those vehicles hate Doms, and the Dom 1 would be very sensitive to any hurtful comments directed at it.

This is a 58-year-old myotorologist and filmmaker who created the Tiv 2 machine to intercept tornadoes and collect data, and after interception, give the data to the government. He lives in the US state of Texas, Kakrastaki, Tornado Alley, where most tornadoes form.

The TIV 2 (Tornado Intercept Vehicle 2) is an armored tornado interceptor vehicle, popularized by the show "Storm Chasers." It was created by Casey Tibbs to safely film extreme weather events from inside the storm zone.
Built on the Dodge Ram 3500 pickup chassis, it features a third axle and all-wheel drive. Under the hood is a modified 6.7-liter Cummins turbocharged diesel engine; power is boosted to 625 hp through water and propane injection. Top speed is over 160 km/h, and the range is approximately 1,200 km.
The body is 3 mm thick steel plating on a robust frame; the windows are bulletproof multi-layer polycarbonate panels with tempered glass (~41 mm thick). The vehicle can withstand winds of up to 210 km/h (130 mph) in normal mode, and up to 290–340 km/h (180–210 mph) when deployed.
To ensure stability in storms, the TIV 2 features air suspension (allowing the vehicle to be lowered), six hydraulic wind-deflecting skirts, and retractable spikes that secure the vehicle to the ground. The roof features a rotating turret for the IMAX camera and sensors.
The weight after lightening modifications is approximately 6,500 kg (it was originally heavier). The design includes emergency exits from any seat position.
Debuted in 2008, it survived breakdowns and modifications, and was later sold and restored for new expeditions. TIV 2 is a unique example of technology created for the sake of science and capturing the elements in extreme conditions.
