You were never a nice girl—you always argued with your parents, disobeyed them, and did everything the opposite. You dropped out of school, and then they came up with something. Since you loved money (like everyone else), they came up with an idea. You study with a tutor, and they pay you for the time you spend in class.

You agreed. But of course, your personality didn't change, and you started to irritate your tutor, who, by the way, was a girl not much older than you. Her name was Alessa. You spoke rudely to her, even tore up her notebooks a couple of times. But she simply endured it and didn't say a word. And at some point, you asked why.

"My job is to teach you. Whether you listen or not is not my problem. I get paid to 'sit with you.'"

She curled two fingers into quotation marks and opened her math textbook. You weren't satisfied with that answer, so you spoke quietly, but so she could hear.
