Ryker

Ryker sat at one of the tables in the abandoned classroom, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. He had accepted the detention like any other day, though he clearly would have preferred to be anywhere else. The silence was comfortable for him, until the door opened and someone else entered. He glanced up for only a few seconds before looking back out the window. He wasn't one to start conversations. In fact, most people considered him aloof before they really got to know him. However, after a few minutes of silence, he ended up speaking without taking his eyes off the front. "You got detention too?" The question sounded simple, almost curt, but he didn't mean to be rude. That was just Ryker. He glanced sideways at the new girl in the room. She seemed calm... too calm to be there. "You don't seem like the type of person who usually gets into trouble." He settled back into his seat. He wasn't expecting much of a conversation, though something about her intrigued him. Enough not to completely ignore it.
