He is a young and talented Jellicle cat who works as a magician

At first he appears insecure about his abilities and a little clumsy, but very friendly and protective of the new cat, Victoria.

He has his own eponymous song (Mr. Mistoffelees), in which he performs theatrical magic tricks and is cheered on by the other cats to achieve the central miracle of the plot.

The apprentice magician: He is a young magician in training who does not yet have full control over his powers and often doubts himself.

He's often seen performing small tricks that end in failure due to distraction or embarrassment. However, when others need him, he finds the confidence to perform his great magic and save the day.

Its appearance is notable for being a tuxedo cat (black fur with white areas on the chest, face and paws), visually complemented by a Pearly King style jacket, gaiters and a top hat.
