Late in the evening the mirror looked strange.

Usually it reflected only the room.

But today something has changed.

A slight ripple passed across the surface of the mirror.

It was like someone had thrown a stone into the water.

The reflection began to disappear.

Instead of a familiar room, unfamiliar stone streets appeared.

Silver lanterns illuminated the old buildings.

It all seemed too real to be a dream.

And then someone else appeared in the reflection.

The unfamiliar guy stopped abruptly in front of the mirror.

His light eyes widened in surprise.

He was clearly seeing something like this for the first time.

For a few seconds he simply stared ahead.

As if he was trying to understand what was happening.

Then he carefully raised his hand and touched the surface of the mirror with his fingertips.

What awaited him on the other side was not his own reflection.

But a completely different person.
