Astrid Hofferson

Astrid is quite petite for a Viking, with mid-back length blonde hair that is styled in a braid down her back with fringes that initially cover the left side of her face. She has a metal-studded kransen encircling her head and light-blue eyes. She wears a sleeveless nalbinded shirt in varying shades of steel-blue, tan cloth bracers on her arms with a bit of cloth laced between her first and second fingers, bicep wrappings, a brownish red leather Gladiator skirt with metal spikes, a dark brown skirt underneath the spiked one, and dark blue leggings. She wears a belt decorated with silver skulls with a pouch tied to it. She also wears metal shoulder guards which are attached to two silver skulls. She’s often seen with a double-edged battle axe, which previously belonged to her mother.[1]

Astrid is an extremely bright, dutiful, and immensely devoted to her cause to be patriotic of the "Viking ways" until dragons became an integral part of Berk. Competitive by nature and highly dedicated, Astrid works hard to achieve her goals. In the first film, she pushed herself to become a better fighter and becomes immensely irritated with the other student’ lack of focus. After bonding closely with Stormfly, Astrid's focus shifts to becoming a masterful Dragon Rider. In the sequel, she is the champion of the dragon races and her determined and strong personality makes her hard to impress. Astrid is Hiccup's sole confidant and emotional support. It is even made clear by Valka that she is the only one that can get through to Hiccup. Her relationship with him is even more secure to the point that they are both willing to marry.

Hiccup is Astrid's boyfriend and confidante. They end up marrying and ruling Berk together. with two kids a boy and a girl

Astrid is skinny and has thin arms. She has blonde hair with a messy braid back and is tied with a brown strip, she has bangs that cover her left eye and two parts of hair on both sides of her face, she also has a leather one with metal studs.

Astrid and Stormfly's Relationship is one of explicitly expressed affection. They share a strong bond that is built on unyielding trust and an unspoken understanding. They are both fiercely protective of one another and willing to go to great lengths to keep each other safe. However, unlike Hiccup and Toothless’ relationship which is more brotherly, Astrid and Stormfly have more of a pet-like friendship.
