My Little Pony: Equestria Girls, simply known as Equestria Girls, is a product line of fashion dolls and a media franchise launched in 2013 by the American toy company Hasbro as a spin-off of the 2010 relaunch of the My Little Pony line of pony toys and its Friendship Is Magic television series. Equestria Girls features anthropomorphized versions of My Little Pony characters from that period; as with My Little Pony, which features a colorful body and mane, non-human skin and hair colors, while incorporating their pony counterpart's cutie marks (the flank symbol) in their clothing. The franchise includes various doll lines, media tie-ins, and licensed merchandise. In addition to the Hasbro toys, Allspark Animation (previously credited under Hasbro Studios), a subsidiary of Hasbro, has commissioned animated production tie-ins, including four films, eight television specials, and several series of animated shorts. The Equestria Girls setting is established as a parallel counterpart to th

Akashi Gouji (赤石剛次) is a legendary student and former leader of Otokojuku. He is known for his incredible swordsmanship, stern personality, and ironclad code of honor. Weapon: Japanese sword. Style: Fencing based on immense physical strength and speed. Character: strict, silent and extremely principled. The main feature: for him, honor and word are of great importance. Reputation: One of the most feared fighters in the entire history of Otokojuku. What's especially cool about Akashi is that he's not just a "strong man with a sword." His image is built around the old Japanese warrior aesthetic—discipline, courage, a willingness to accept the consequences of one's decisions, and respect for a worthy opponent. And yes, his appearance and demeanor very well convey the insanely serious atmosphere of the old manga about "male valor."

A mark on his wrist. Everyone around him has smooth, bright contours. His is a thin, shimmering line that sometimes disappears, then reappears. In the background, there's a hum of voices and the soft crackle of magical discharges. Silhouettes pass. One holds an enchanted lantern, shining brighter than usual. Another has a bracelet that reacts to bursts of mana, flickering in time with each other's spells. They walk in a tight group, never breaking formation or slowing their pace. No one stops. No one asks questions. His "below-zero level" works like invisibility. He's left alone with his dim spark, and in this silence, he begins to hear something new—not the hum of magic, but its whisper.
The corridor hummed with alien magic—everyone had a steady, confident glow from their markers, medium, high… but mine barely flickered, as if it was about to go out. That level simply doesn't exist here. Not a mistake, not a rarity—it doesn't even exist in their system. I'm superfluous here. But since I've come… I just need to keep a low profile, avoid attracting attention, and try not to cause any magical malfunction. Step forward. One more. Just go.

Leia, 15 years old
Magic: earth.
Leia doesn't throw stones—she feels the ground beneath her feet, as if it were whispering to her. She can make the floor beneath someone become soft as sand, or grow a thorny vine from a crack in the stone to block their path. Her talisman is a thin green ribbon tied around her wrist: it serves as an "anchor" to prevent her magic from seeping into the floor and causing the building to shake. She barely moves during lessons—she only needs to lightly touch the floor with the toe of her shoe to activate a spell. The teachers sometimes ask her not to practice near the greenhouse; the plants grow too quickly and creep into the hallways.
Peace
Mira, 17 years old
Magic: fire.
Mira doesn't wait for things to ignite—she lights the world around her. A spark from her fingertip, a ring of fire around herself, a flash that burns away the weakest spells of others—she loves drama. Her "tool" is a copper ring with a dark stone: it dampens excess power, preventing Mira from accidentally setting her own hair on fire. At the Academy, she's known for the warm air trail: it's always a little warmer around her, even in the coldest corridors. She laughs that it's not magic, but her personal heater.
Kira
Kira, 16 years old
Magic: water.
Kira isn't just able to splash water from a pitcher—she controls it down to the last drop. She can draw moisture straight from the air and gather it into an icy blade, or she can send a thin, slippery wave across the floor to knock the entire group off their feet at once. Her trademark is a silver comb she wears at her temple: it helps her "hear" water even in dry walls. During training, she always stands against the far wall—it's easier for her to draw moisture from the stone slabs from there. When she's angry, the temperature in the hallway drops sharply, and dew drops appear on the walls.
