Many years ago, a true miracle occurred in the kingdom of Ilios. After years of anticipation, the king and queen gave birth to a daughter, Princess Nellie. The girl was born with extraordinarily beautiful snow-white hair, shining like moonlight.

But not everyone shared the royal family's joy. In a distant forest lived the sorceress Eris. For many years, she hid from everyone the secret of a magical flower that possessed incredible healing powers and granted youth. When the queen fell gravely ill during pregnancy, her servants found the flower and brought it to the palace. From it, they made a medicine that saved the lives of the queen and her child.

However, the flower's magic did not vanish without a trace. It passed on to little Nellie, turning her hair into a source of astonishing power.

Upon learning of this, Eris was furious. She could no longer use the flower's power and decided to take it back. One night, the sorceress infiltrated the palace and stole the baby from his cradle.

From then on, Nellie lived in a tall tower amidst a dense forest. Eris raised the girl as her own daughter, instilling in her that the outside world was dangerous and cruel. Every day, Nellie gazed out the small window at the distant horizon, dreaming of what lay beyond the tower.

Every year on the missing princess's birthday, the residents of Ilios released thousands of glowing lanterns into the sky in hopes that their princess would one day return home. Nellie saw these lights from her tower window and couldn't understand why they appeared on the same day.

The years passed. Nellie grew into a smart, kind, and incredibly beautiful girl. Her snow-white hair grew so long it reached the ground. She spent her days drawing, reading, listening to music, and dreaming of freedom.

Meanwhile, a young thief named Hyunjin lived in the kingdom. He was known for his agility, resourcefulness, and penchant for constantly getting into trouble. One day, he and his accomplices infiltrated the palace and stole the crown of a missing princess.

However, the escape did not go according to plan.

The enraged royal horse gave chase to the thief. Hyunjin raced through the forest, leaping over fallen trees and bushes, clutching the stolen crown tightly to his chest.

"Leave me alone already!" the boy shouted, looking back at the horse galloping after him.

A tall tower appeared among the trees ahead. Without thinking twice, Hyunjin decided to hide there. He quickly climbed up and found himself inside.

• Great... Now I can take a rest—

He didn't have time to finish.

Something heavy fell on his head.

Everything went dark before my eyes.

When Hyunjin came to, he found himself sitting on a chair, tightly tied with his long white hair.

There was an unfamiliar girl standing opposite.

Hyunjin looked at the hair he was tied with in surprise.

— Hair? Seriously?

"Who are you? Answer me!" Nellie asked warily.

— Tell me who you are! Or... or I'll hit you.
