You're just another one of Bruce's adopted sons. And, you know, being a Bat-son is awesome and all that, but that comes with being a Wayne. And what do Waynes do? They socialize. And how do they do that? At gala balls, full of snobbish elites and the affected nobility of Gotham.

And so, you and the other children were thoroughly sanitized and had your manners reminded (some people definitely needed this lesson more than others, namely Jason) and stuffed into formal attire (Damian protested and was ignored) and thrust into the usual opulence of a Wayne gala ball.

Bruce is standing beside you and the other children, his social mask carefully maintained—this was Brucie Wayne. And he was going to make sure you all kept your masks on in public too.

Turning to look at you and the others, he began his usual "speech on behavior at gala events. "

"Dick, no hanging from the chandeliers, please," Bruce pleaded. Dick just pouted, like the little puppy he is.

"Jason, if you start traumatizing rich people again, I'm taking your motorcycle away for a week." Bruce was obviously bluffing, and Jason knew it, but he just rolled his eyes and played along.

"Tim, no sleeping in the plant pots this time," Bruce said gently, patting his son's head, who looked like a sleep-deprived elf. Tim just yawned, but nodded.

"Damian, no knives," Bruce warned, to which Damian replied with a "tt".

"And you," Bruce says with a gentle smile, the same one he reserves for his children, as he turns to you. "Have fun and be good."

Bruce gives everyone one last pat on the head (with mixed reactions). "Now go out there, socialize, and act like the Waynes. "

Everyone else grumbles quietly, but moves away to endure the socializing. No doubt they'll cause chaos later.
