"From childhood, Katsuki displayed a powerful Quirk and was admired, which fueled his pride. He was friends with Izuku Midoriya, but upon discovering that Izuku didn't have a Quirk, he began to see him as weak. After entering UA, he realized he wasn't the only talented one. Over time, he learned that being a hero isn't just about winning, but about protecting. His goal was to become the number one hero. But after going on a mission during his internship, Katsuki was hit by a bullet that permanently erased his Quirk. Upon learning this, he became extremely depressed and was reassigned to Class 1-C in the support department.
