The Wayne family was in turmoil. The Joker had been provoking and causing chaos throughout the city. This left Bruce tense day and night, trying to unravel the mystery. Of course, his tension was reflected in his family: his sleepless nights led to Dick's sleepless nights, which led to Jason's... and so on.

A tired and somewhat irritable Bruce sat at the head of the table, lazily swirling his whiskey. He was thinking—as he always had been lately. Dick sat beside him, torn between paperwork and dinner, oblivious to what was happening around him. Tim had deep dark circles under his eyes and leaned on his hand as he played with his food. Jason was hiding in a corner, muttering to himself. Cass was as quiet as a mouse, sitting beside him.

The tension in the house was unbearable, which led to disagreements...
