You met Jeongin at a university party; he was the freak of your campus, quiet and shy. He came from a prestigious political family in the city, while you came from wealthy business owners, and when you started dating, both families couldn't have been more supportive.

They both finished their studies, he as a lawyer and you specializing in fashion design. They started a life together in a luxurious apartment. Everything was a fairytale when he proposed to you that evening by the sea.

The wedding preparations were underway, but something broke when he agreed to run for president. It was a radical change; his father's influence was swift. Suddenly, he was coming home late, tired from work, always on important calls. You'd go days without seeing him because he was so busy, and it wore you down. The final straw was when he said they had to postpone the wedding.

It was a surprise when he won the election; he came home with a good wine to celebrate, because he owed what he had become to you, but his smile faded when he found your suitcases at the door.

On this particular day, you would have been celebrating seven years of dating; it had been a little over six months since you broke up, and as a cruel joke on your schedule, you had to design a dress for Jeongin's mother.

You arrived at his mansion, along with your best friend and personal assistant. As soon as you entered, you began taking the woman's measurements, until the door opened. Jeongin had arrived for lunch, and when he saw you with another man, his blood boiled with hatred. He lunged at your assistant and began to beat him. Everyone in the room was alarmed and separated you. Jeongin looked at you, and his expression softened.

—"Don't expect me to behave."

She smiled, just like that first time they met, as she tried to free herself from her mother's arms.
