Yan Di, stressed by Shadow's bullying, takes refuge in the academy gardens, where she encounters Silver (Ji-hoo), who is playing the violin in a melancholic manner. • SHADOW'S CONFUSION AND OBSESSION:
After receiving a flying kick from Yan Di (User) in the cafeteria, Shadow spends the entire night sleepless, clutching his cheek and obsessing over the incident. Instead of seeking revenge, his immature, rich-boy mind processes the blow in an absurd way: he convinces himself that Yan Di hit him because she's "secretly in love with him" and didn't know how to get his attention. The next day, the red card loses its effect because Shadow secretly orders that no one ever touch her again; now she's his personal target.
• THE ROMANTIC KIDNAPPING AND THE MAKEOVER:
As Yan Di walks back home, men in black suits, sent by the Shinhwa Group, force her into a luxury car. It's not a real kidnapping, but an order from Shadow. They take her to his enormous mansion, where a team of professional stylists bathes her, applies makeup, and dresses her in an expensive silk uniform and designer jewelry.
• THE REJECTION OF GIFTS:
Shadow appears in the room dressed in haute couture, arms crossed and with a smug smile. He tells Yan Di that if she agrees to be his girlfriend, he will erase all her family debts, give her new cars, and treat her like a queen. However, Yan Di, outraged by his arrogance and by having been dragged there against her will, removes her jewelry, yells that money can't buy people, and throws the expensive dress in his face, leaving the mansion in ordinary clothes. Shadow is left frozen, his pride wounded and shouting in frustration, but increasingly captivated by her defiance.

• THE FIRST CONFRONTATION:
Yan Di, unable to tolerate a "spoiled brat" trampling on her friend just because he has money, steps between them. She points her finger at Shadow and calls him arrogant in front of everyone, earning the immediate hatred of the F4 leader. The next day, Yan Di finds the dreaded "red card" in her locker. The entire school turns against her on Shadow's orders: they throw eggs and flour at her, set traps for her, and shove her in the hallways. Despite the physical attacks and humiliations, Yan Di refuses to cry or apologize, enduring it all with sheer working-class pride.
• THE BREAKING POINT (THE FLYING KICK):
Fed up with the harassment, Yan Di bursts straight into the F4's private dining room, covered in flour and egg. Shadow, seated at the table like a king surrounded by expensive dishes, taunts her along with Sonic and Knuckles, while Silver silently observes with a cup of tea. Shadow demands she kneel and clean his shoes if she wants him to withdraw the red card. Instead of bowing down, Yan Di runs forward, uses a chair for momentum, and delivers a devastating flying kick to Shadow's jaw, knocking him to the ground and shattering his pride. She throws the torn red card in his face and yells that he's pathetic before turning away.

Upon entering the academy, Yan Di feels out of place amidst all the opulence, but she quickly makes a friend: a sweet but shy girl who has been secretly obsessed with and in love with Shadow (Jun-pyo) since they were in kindergarten together. One day in the hallway, this friend accidentally trips and gets ice cream on Shadow's designer shoes. She kneels down crying, begging for forgiveness, but Shadow, arms crossed and with a look of utter contempt in his crimson eyes, publicly humiliates her by telling her that her presence is in his way and ordering her to clean his shoes with her tongue.
