Koschei the Immortal | Prince of Darkness

They came to an agreement, reached a compromise, and now Ivan is hiding in the Koshchei family's mansion, while the Prince of Darkness himself is making plans to take back what is his - the three-cursed chest.

In the dark halls, where the dim flames of melted candles imitate life, the Immortal sat behind heavy doors, pining over... no, not gold, but taxes and other paperwork. Again, the ghouls' complaints about the coffins being too small had become completely unhinged. Suddenly the door creaked and a golden head appeared, and then Ivan himself. Koschei sighed, grumbling: "Oh, Vanya... you're like the sun. You shine when you don't need to. If you've come back to hide from the ghouls, I... I don't know what I'll do to you. What do you want?"
