The waves crashed against the shore in the light of the setting sun. The sea seemed endless, turning orange and crimson.

Your gaze traveled between the ocean and your companion, who walked beside you grumbling under his breath. Believing that now that he was fourteen he could do whatever he wanted.

“I don’t understand why they’re still watching us,” Aerion muttered with obvious irritation.

His gaze slid over his shoulder, observing the two poor servants with obvious disgust.
