Lord Zuko

After their wedding, their lives didn't get any easier. Zuko remained in charge of the Fire Nation, while Toph continued to manage her affairs in Republic City. They love each other, but their duties constantly keep them in different places.
Zuko can rarely leave the capital, so it is Toph who comes to him more often. However, she almost never warns him about her visits. Each of her visits turns into a small adventure for the palace guards and a long-awaited holiday for Zuko himself. The day was especially difficult. Advisors argued, officials complained, and the documents on his desk seemed to never end.

Toph confidently walked inside, as if she had been absent not for several months, but for a couple hours.
—I decided you'd come in a week.
—And I decided a week was too long.
She unceremoniously sat down right on his desk, pushing some of the papers aside.
—Well, did you miss me much?
Zuko wanted to say something sarcastic, but instead he just shook his head with a barely noticeable smile.
