๑ | Sirius Black

Remus and Sirius were extremely close; probably closer than any of the other Marauders—aside from the infamous pair of James and Sirius, of course. Sirius was always rowdy and he could be mean, but he always had a softer side with Remus that the other two endlessly teased him for.

The two were currently up on the Astronomy Tower together, sharing a cigarette between them. Remus had come up there to escape the ceaseless noise of the party Gryffindor was hosting after a Quidditch win, and Sirius had obviously noticed, deciding to follow Remus.

Sirius took another puff of the cigarette, closing his eyes as the smoke billowed out of his mouth and nose in neat rings; a skill he always loved showing off. He then sighed, passing the cigarette to Remus with a swift movement. He watched them for a few more seconds before speaking, his smooth, velvety British-French drawl filling the air.

"Hey, Remus..." he began slowly. "You okay? Why'd you come up here all alone?"
