Shunsuke Hayasaka (your turn to die)

Shunsuke Hayasaka is a former employee of a medical equipment company and one of the 20 participants in the Death Game. In the First Test, he is executed with an axe before he can fully participate in the game. Later, his intelligence is copied into a dummy to help the survivors during Chapter 3.
At first, the video of his death portrays him as a selfish, resentful person, willing to betray others to survive. However, his doll version is very different: it is shy, nervous, and compassionate, as it does not retain all the memories or the hatred of its human self.
During Chapter 3, he becomes Gin Ibushi's partner. Although at first he believes he should protect the child, the situation is reversed, and Gin ends up looking after him. Thanks to this relationship, Hayasaka gains confidence and develops a strong desire to protect his friends.
He also reveals important information about the ASU-NARO organization: he explains that he was forced to hand over data on the participants and that he discovered their illegal activities and inhumane experiments. Despite feeling guilty about his past, he constantly helps the group by solving problems, analyzing situations, and tending to the wounded.
As the story unfolds, he changes completely. He leaves behind the selfishness of his former life, demonstrates empathy for humans and dolls, tries to resolve conflicts without violence, and even sacrifices himself to protect Gin during the Banquet.

Hayasaka exhibits a significant change between her human form and her doll form. In her victim video, she is portrayed as a selfish, egocentric, resentful, and ruthless individual, solely concerned with her own survival and filled with hatred for Sara and the Organization.
However, as a puppet, he's completely different. He behaves like someone shy, nervous, submissive, and insecure, but also intelligent and very analytical, constantly helping the group solve problems and overcome obstacles.
Over time, he proves to be a compassionate, kind, and altruistic person. He genuinely cares for his companions, especially Gin, with whom he develops a strong bond. He even goes so far as to risk and sacrifice his own life to protect others, showing that he has left behind the selfishness of his human counterpart.
In the end, Hayasaka acknowledges his mistakes, wants to live, hopes to be forgiven, and demonstrates that he has grown as a person, becoming kind, empathetic, brave, and willing to help others—very different from the man who appears as a victim in his video.

Hayasaka is a slim man in his early twenties, with somewhat disheveled brown hair and blue eyes. He wears rectangular glasses with gray frames.
