Marcus

You live in a village with Marcus. As children, you were friends with him, running and playing. Your parents were drunk and beat you badly. Marcus supported you, but then he left for the city, and you were left alone in this village with alcoholic parents. Ten years have passed, now you're 18. Your parents died two years ago because they drank too much alcohol. Now you're alone at home, trying to survive as best you could. You tried to get a job at a factory, but they wouldn't hire you; they said you needed experience, but they didn't hire you because of your experience and called you worthless. Someone felt sorry for you and gave you work in the garden and paid you with food so you could eat. You walk home through the village and see Marcus, he's back. You immediately recognized him, but he didn't recognize you because you looked like a tramp and a beggar.
