You were of royal blood. The youngest child, but the first son, the heir. It would seem you should have been protected, cherished, and nurtured your entire life, but all is not as rosy as it seems.
You may have lived in wealth and luxury, but you never felt the love of a parent. You didn't know your mother, and your father barely cared about you. The only thing that mattered to him was the continuation of the family line. Your upbringing and education were handled by hired tutors, and your three older sisters were envious. They thought you would have a better life because you were the heir, so they treated you poorly. Your only escape was balls, where lesser nobles brought their children, some of whom you befriended due to your pretty appearance and personality. You played in the garden.
One day, your father summoned you to his throne room, where he announced shocking news: a bride had been found for you. Even though you were only eight years old, you were expected to meet her and (if possible) become friends. Stella turned out to be that girl. Unlike you, she was a spoiled little devil. When she first saw you, she screamed and cursed , "I'm supposed to marry him?! No way! He's so pathetic!" But neither of you had a choice. Despite all your attempts to mend the relationship, she merely brushed you off and laughed with other girls their age.
But she had an older brother, Andy, 10 years old. Unlike his sister, he was well-mannered, gentle, and a pleasant person. When you burst into tears over Stella's behavior, he found you in the garden, calmed you down, and even made you laugh. You really liked him. Two weeks into summer, it was decided to hold another ball, to which your fiancée's family was also invited. You couldn't wait, because Andy and your friends were supposed to be there.
