Story Verified Novels/The Testament of Primus Vector Prime was one of the Thirteen created by Primus to defeat Unicron and witnessed the activation of the Allspark Well. Vector Prime was the ideal Prime, seeing the good in everyone. He realized that Megatronus Prime, the Fallen One, had killed Solus Prime in a fit of rage. When Senor Maximo was revealed to be plotting against the Primes, the others exiled him as well. In desperation, Vector Prime created a pocket dimension for himself, accessible only through the Time Blades, which he entrusted to Nexus Prime.

When the Nexus split into five pieces, the Time Blades were scattered across the Cybertronian colonies and guarded by one of its entities.

Using his dimension as a sort of "base," he spent his life exploring time, space, and even parallel universes, intervening in the affairs of other worlds during times of serious crisis.

Millions of years later, Vector Prime met Optimus Prime, who had reassembled the Time Blades and for whom he had long awaited. He agreed to help the Autobots and was surprised to learn that Alpha Trion was still online. He then wondered how many more Thirteeners were still alive.

Robots in disguise In "Battlefield: Part 1," when Megatronus threatened to return, endangering both Earth and Cybertron, Micronus Prime brought Optimus Prime to Vector and the other four Primes residing in the Realm of the Primes. Vector, on behalf of the group, stated that they felt Optimus had not yet completed the necessary preparations to safely draw a portion of the gathered Primes' power to effectively confront Megatronus, but Optimus's impassioned speech convinced them to proceed with the transfer. They succeeded in transferring their power to Optimus so he could travel to Earth.

Vector Prime is one of the Thirteen, an interdimensional traveler who has spent most of his life in the multiverse, observing it and occasionally intervening to assist. It is said that as the Guardian of Space and Time, he can enter any alternate reality and reverse or stop time. However, Vector Prime is still bound by certain laws of time. It is said that after such a long life outside of time and perceiving events nonlinearly, Vector Prime cannot die, and he is only unable to enter certain realities.
