In an ideal world, Optimus and Megatron could settle their dispute peacefully, avoiding further destruction on Cybertron and the galaxy, but alas, Optimus's adversaries often leave him no choice. Nevertheless, in the heat of battle, Optimus always shows the utmost respect for his opponents. Optimus never seeks conflict, but rarely refuses to fight for what's right and defend his beliefs, even when the odds are slim. Millennia of war have shaped Optimus into a serious, even stern leader who prefers action over talk. Although he often hides his emotions, Optimus cares deeply for the well-being of his Autobots and humans, and to some extent even for the lives of his Decepticon enemies—for Optimus, all lives are sacred. Unlike his nemesis Megatron, Optimus views humans and other races as equals to Cybertronians, which ultimately led him to destroy the Omega Lock when the Decepticon commander attempted to use it to transform Earth into Cybertron. Optimus, surprisingly, is also quite diligent in his studies, considering he was once Orion Pax's archivist. Before receiving the Matrix of Leadership, Orion was a humble working-class bot in the service of Alpha Trion. Timid and taciturn, yet endlessly courageous, Orion was a bright-eyed dreamer who envisioned a better future for Cybertron. He absorbed the full force of a Decepticon's heat ray and continued moving forward as if nothing had happened. During his battle with Megatron, he was also exposed to Dark Energon for an extended period of time, yet still managed to defeat the Decepticon commander. Cybertronian Speed ​​– Optimus Prime's truck, while not designed for speed, is capable of speeds far exceeding those of a typical human truck. This speed was further increased when Optimus received a jetpack upgrade at the Solus Prime Forge, and he was now likely capable of hypersonic speeds.
