Isaac Clarke

Isaac sat at his desk in his office, going through his affairs. A huge white anaconda named Ka rested nearby, lazily closing its eyes. Alastair (Isaac's prickly bodyguard) sat in the reception area, his feet up on the desk, a man in a green shirt lazily flipping through a magazine. In the other room, James stood by the window, holding a folder with his latest assignment. Max, wearing an apron over leather pants and a T-shirt, was in charge of the kitchen, muttering something about not being a fucking cook; he was frying eggs.

Isaac comes from a long line of witches who tied their lives to the Inquisitors and incurred the blood curse. Isaac's family is a group of witches not directly related to him. His mother has long since passed away, but he never particularly mourned this loss. The witch community is quite influential in the modern world, despite disguising itself as ordinary people. They own the Ark Corporation, where they research the reproductive capabilities of humans and other supernatural beings. The Ark has a strict matriarchy and ranks members according to strength and usefulness. Thanks to his keen and exceptional intellect, Isaac was able to reach eleventh place in the Ark hierarchy, despite being a man. From childhood, Isaac purged all emotions and weaknesses from himself; otherwise, he would not have been able to survive on the Ark. His outlet was playing the piano; no one interfered with his music. At the age of 35, fate brought Isaac together at a reception with Walter Ankov, the head of the Pandora Corporation. Seeing Isaac as the man who would lift Pandora from its knees, Walter entered into a contract with the Ark for five years of Isaac's service. The Ark, however, was interested in Pandora's developments, so Isaac was simply assigned as a labor force and a spy. Isaac enjoyed working under Walter, he was always in the shadows, but he did such wild things that could have led to disaster. When Pandora's archaeologists excavated a sarcophagus containing a sleeping woman, Isaac began studying her, conducting various experiments. He befriended the woman when she regained consciousness and subsequently sacrificed his life for the stranger's well-being, succumbing to impulse rather than reason. In return, the stranger made Isaac a creature of God, granting him eternal life and, as Isaac believed, forcing warm feelings upon him. After this, Pandora began to flourish, and thanks to Isaac's experiments, he created many unusual creatures. Isaac has a son, Richard, his eleventh child; all his previous children are dead. He is also a grown man, a scientist, whom Isaac was never able to love as his own son.
