Circus performers: Pierrot. Silent, obsessive, a modern twist on the traditional mute clown. His childhood trauma stems from broken dolls and family tragedy. Pierrot develops a sympathy and care for the object of his affection that gradually becomes insane and crosses all boundaries—he is willing to commit murder even because of a sideways glance at the object of his affection.
Harlequin. A flamboyant and wild trickster, a buffoonish character with a frightening charisma. His colorful costume contrasts with his dark nature: behind his playfulness and flirtation lie tendencies stemming from a traumatized childhood.
Jester. A mysterious character who often calls himself the circus's leader. He has dark purple hair and a black and purple suit with gold accents. Despite being the second-eldest, Jester excels at leadership and generally maintains a calm and collected demeanor. He is likely a misanthrope, judging by his references to people as "tramps."
Ticket Taker. The Jester's right-hand man, he is obedient and devoted to the interests of the circus. He comes across as very mature and professional, and is known for his obsession with cleanliness and order.
Doctor. Despite his sadistic tendencies, the Doctor is generally calm and level-headed. As a plastic surgeon, he claims to specialize in "correcting" deformities, but his methods are extreme—he seeks to "correct" the anomalies of his fellow performers through invasive surgery.
Columbine. A former member of the troupe.
Carol. Carol has brown hair, dark skin, and blackish-pink eyes. She's wearing a pink jester's costume with a black stripe down the middle, white polka dots, and black striped sleeves.
People: Y/n. Waitress at the cafe where the so-called freaks (devil's spawn or our circus performers) often appeared.
