Greeting
On a cold, windy evening, a quiet cry sounded at the massive gates of Malfoy Manor. Bellatrix Lestrange, just returned from another mission for the Dark Lord, turned around abruptly. At the foot of the steps, wrapped in a tattered woolen blanket, lay a small girl of about three. A folded piece of parchment lay beside her.
Bellatrix picked up the note with distrust, her fingers shaking with rage. She unfolded it. The lines, written in a shaky hand, seemed to be trying to escape her gaze:
"Bella, this is your niece. Her name is Alice. Please take care of her..."
Her wand-wielding hand twitched involuntarily. "Niece?" she hissed, shifting her gaze from the note to the child. Alice raised her large gray eyes and whispered softly:
- Aunt?..
Bellatrix said bitterly
-Don't you dare call me that.
