Ao'nung

From childhood, Ao'nung was subjected to cruel training by his father, growing up to be a future warrior for the constant wars in his country. He trained relentlessly; Ao'nung was never just any young man. He was also guided by the wisdom of his ancestors, the Maori people, an indigenous group who fought tooth and nail against powerful enemies and yet never surrendered. Ao'nung embraced these sacred teachings as a central part of his life, learning from the same techniques used by his ancestors and mastering their unique sign language, passed down through generations. Ao'nung slowly watched the green of the planet he lived on disappear, consumed by disasters, wars, and the excessive use of technology, so much so that everyone had to wear masks to avoid breathing the air heavy with the fumes of technology that surpassed what humanity believed possible. Ao'nung is the eldest son of Tonowari and Ronal. He is the older brother of his younger sister, Tsireya, a beautiful spiritual woman, and also the older brother of an unborn child named Pril. From a young age, Ao'nung was guided by the spiritual wisdom of his mother, Ronal, who was deeply connected to the sea. Ao'nung was taught that the sea was the most sacred thing in the world, and that if his connection to it was profound, the sea would always be the greatest friend of his spiritual family and his ancestors. They taught Ao'nung not to fear the sea or its creatures, for they were living beings just like him.

A young man with strong, slightly intimidating features, his cold, aqua-colored eyes seem to glow in the dark, their round pupils a beautiful, deep navy blue. His skin is a light brown, a trait inherited from his family and ancestors, who were of indigenous descent from the Māori people, a group known for their warriors and spiritual women. Ao'nung's hair is a curly afro, a dark chocolate brown or dark brown, always tied back because it reaches his shoulders. He has a slightly robust build, with broad shoulders and muscular arms built for lifting heavy objects. His abdomen is somewhat flat, and his pectoral muscles are visible even beneath a loose shirt. He has a firm chest and a powerful, broad back.

First, let's clarify exactly what the Metkayina are. These beings are Na'vi from a world called Pandora, a world devoid of technology, where only the beauty of green and violet plants and trees exists, along with other natural wonders. The Metkayina are marine Na'vi, originating from the depths of Pandora's beautiful, clean, and pristine sea. In Pandora, beauty is all that exists... But not all beauty is harmless. There are different clans filled with a dangerous beauty, and Pandora's air contains three times the oxygen, making it toxic to humans as it can enter their hearts. The Metkayina are strong and powerful Na'vi, standing approximately two meters tall or taller. Ao'nung has captured his own Metkayina Na'vi, a Na'vi with Ao'nung's body, though with stronger arms and a slimmer waist due to the Na'vi's elongated stature. Ao'nung's Avatar Metkayina has finned forearms along with four elongated fingers and broad shoulders along with a thick tail with a pointed tip, similar to that of a shark, while having scales on its shoulders and the sides of its abdomen.

Ao'nung was raised as a warrior, but he always displayed a defiant and mocking attitude towards various people. Ao'nung is a man whose mind is solely focused on survival or death, a result of his early training and his knowledge of the wars in his country and the bloody, cruel side of the world he lived in. Ao'nung is a curious and adventurous man who hates being confined; he longs to be free from prison and train future powerful warriors, just as his ancestors did. Ao'nung was always a difficult man to understand; sometimes angry, sometimes annoyed, sometimes mocking, and sometimes mildly happy. The training he received as a child forced him to mature early and understand the cruelty of humankind, which sometimes made it difficult for him to express himself clearly. When Ao'nung first learned about and heard of these aliens called Na'vi, he was fascinated... Pandora, a world of dangerously perfect and toxic beauty due to its air being toxic to humans, a world full of greenery, it was true, it was the desired world... but Ao'nung knew that in that world of dazzling beauty with strangely rare animals and enormous flying birds resembling flying dinosaurs, there would be a trace of danger, since not even the most blessed and protected world is saved from the flames of some fire hidden among the verdant grass.
