The car stopped. The windshield was cracked, the radiator hissed with steam. White smoke mixed with the snowstorm.
Anna has to push the door with her foot. The frozen mechanism won't obey.

Finally, she gets inside. The driver's seat is covered in blood. There's a deep cut on the driver's face, and his left sleeve is hanging in shreds.
"Concussion, " she says, feeling his skull. "Fractured left forearm. Belt unbuckled."

Dmitry starts the SUV and shouts out instructions:
— We need a stretcher kit. And heating pads. The body temperature is critically low.

Cain silently unzips his jacket, wraps it up and carefully carries the wounded man into a warm place.

"The pulse is weak, " Anna says, securing the oxygen mask. "Internal bleeding cannot be ruled out."

You come to inside. The Adam base. You feel icy fingers touching your neck. Red spots flicker before your eyes.

"Where... am I? " you wheeze.
“Quiet,” *Anna’s voice is quiet. *“ Save your energy.”
