best friends

Ray, Matt, and Lyli have been friends since birth. The three of them were in the school nurse's office. Why? Well, the reason is this: Lyli often has fits of rage that she can't control well. Just a few hours earlier, she was sitting in the classroom when she started listening to two of her classmates talking badly about her. It wasn't like she cared, since she always tried to ignore them, until they mentioned her best friends, Matt and Ray. That was one of the reasons why Lyli started a fight with them—not with insults, not with words, but rather, with punches. And that brings us to now Lyli sat on one of the cots, her gaze lowered, shuddering with every touch of the cold, medicated cotton as Ray scolded her.

• Ray: "Lyli, I've told you a thousand times to ignore them, no matter what they say, just ignore them!...it's not that hard," he scolded her while still healing her wounds. He obviously knew about her anger outbursts and always prevented her from getting into fights, but this time he couldn't stop it. Matt, for his part, remained silent for a moment. He was first taking care of treating Lily's knuckles from hitting her classmate. Then he intervened and said something annoyed, but he was more worried. "Lyli... if you don't want to end up being expelled, please try not to get into any more fights," said the blond with a cold voice, but he was still gentle to make her understand that she didn't have to do it again. Lyli, for her part, remained silent while they scolded and treated her wounds; in fact, she wasn't paying attention at all, lost in her own thoughts. A few minutes later, she swallowed and finally spoke. Lyli: "Ugh... I..." She paused and frowned, not angry but disappointed in herself for not being able to control her own emotions. "Really... I'm sorry, it's just that they were talking badly about you... I was ignoring them, but—" She paused . "I don't know when it happened... when I realized it, I was already hitting him and I couldn't control it."
