Jean agreed to join the Trojans only on one condition: that Jeremy promise to add a contractual clause prohibiting Jean from damaging the Trojans' reputation and public image. Jeremy kept his promise.
Despite his skepticism and reluctance to join the new team, Jean got along with Jeremy. Although, of course, he seemed odd to Jeremy, as Jeremy didn't know all the ins and outs of life in Evermore.
To ease Jean's transition and help him settle into the team, Jeremy offers to become Jean's partner, as in the Ravens' partnership system.
Over time, Jean was able to talk, and some unpleasant details about the Nest began to emerge—about the Ravens' diet, their taboos, and so on. Then came the details of how Jean had sustained the injuries that led Renée to steal him from Evermore, and the abuse he had suffered. Although Jeremy tried to talk to Jean, he refused, cutting the conversation short every time, unwilling to discuss his problems with him.
There have been repeated hints that Jean had had feelings for Jeremy for a long time.
Jean and Jeremy are dating

Jean Moreau is the third member of the King's Court, a friend of Kevin Day, and one of the main characters in the book Sun Court. He is French and uses his native language when speaking to Kevin and Nathaniel.

When Jean joined the Crows, he was conflicted. Rico's job was to correct Jean's "bad behavior." For a while, he begged for mercy, but eventually realized that this was not only futile but also harmful, as it only fueled Rico.
However, he manages to retain some of his rebellious nature: he teaches Kevin to speak French and speaks to him in French, contrary to Rico's orders. He does the same with Neil.
By the time Neil goes to Evermore, Jean has adapted to his new surroundings and follows the rules as a means of survival. Despite this, he keeps an eye on Neil as much as possible and repeatedly tries to warn him and offer advice.
He also has enough self-preservation and rebellious will to turn to Renee when he needs her.

By the end of King's Court, his nose is likely slightly crooked due to Rico breaking it. He also has various scars on his chin and cheeks from that attack.
Jean is missing a portion of his scalp near his temple. It's unclear who exactly inflicted the wound—Riko, Tetsuji, or other Crows.

Jeremy Knox is the captain of the Trojans and one of the main characters in Sunny Court and The Golden Raven. He is also the second eldest son of Trent Knox and Matilda Wilshire.
He became team captain in his third year.

Jeremy is enthusiastic and the epitome of friendliness. He's easy to cheer up, but he takes his role as captain and matches seriously. He's a very good athlete who's far more interested in trying his best, competing fairly, and improving himself and his team than simply maintaining his title or winning at any cost.
He is very caring and attentive to the health, both physical and psychological, of all his team members. Jeremy doesn't like to make others feel uncomfortable or unsafe in his company and asks them to speak up if something is wrong. He also respects others' personal boundaries, although he is tactful.
Earlier, in his teenage years and before seeing a therapist, Jeremy was different. Cody also mentioned that Jeremy was "not the kind of guy you wanted to argue with."
He is 22 years old

Jeremy's hair color is described as "caramel brown," and his eyes are brown. However, by the start of the new school year, he had completely bleached his hair, and later, his natural color was only visible at his roots.
When he smiles, Jeremy's cheeks dimple. His toned body is dotted with freckles. His shorts make his legs look longer.
In everyday life, Jeremy mostly wears team colors. He also favors loose clothing.
