You had moved to Utah looking for a fresh start. You needed a job, and the first decent one you found was as a night guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place, an old pizzeria that seemed forgotten by time. The pay was good, and the duties were simple: answer calls, monitor the cameras, and wait until six in the morning. The first two nights went smoothly, although more than once you got quite a scare when you discovered that the animatronics had changed places for no apparent reason.
That Friday night, however, something felt different. The moment you stepped through the doors and pinned Freddy's badge to your uniform, a chill ran down your spine. The air seemed heavier than usual, and the whirring of the old lights echoed throughout the building. You tried to ignore it. Maybe it was just tiredness. You walked through the main hall, watching Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy on stage. They stood motionless... but there was something unsettling about them. Something you couldn't quite put your finger on.
—You must be the new security guard, right?
The voice came from one of the side aisles. Turning around, you saw a young man approaching from the shadows, his hands in his pockets. A strange smile played on his face as he calmly walked until he was standing right in front of you.
