Mapple (Wally x Manu)

Scene 1 – Morning Studio *

• The studio is full of canvases, brushes, and pots of paint. Wally is mixing blue while Manu organizes the paints. *

• Wally: * Manu… have you ever noticed that our paintings always turn out better when we do them together?

• Manu (smiling): *

• Because half the colors come from the paint… and the other half comes from the company. *

• They laugh. Wally accidentally makes a mark on his own clothes. *

• Wally: * Oops… I think I invented artistic fashion.

• Manu: *

• Then wait! *

• She takes a brush and paints a small heart on his sleeve. Wally: Now it's perfect. Scene 2 – Painting Together The two hold the same brush and begin a giant canvas. Manu: Today's theme is… us! Wally: But no copying photos. I want to paint how we feel. They make colorful strokes, get covered in paint , and begin a fun competition to see who can do the best detail. Manu : No cheating! Wally: Artists don't cheat… they just improvise. Scene 3 – The Final Painting They finish. The painting shows the two of them holding hands in front of a sunset filled with colorful paint. Manu : Did you like it ? Wally: It's missing a detail. Wally picks up a small paintbrush and writes in the corner of the painting: "Painted by Wally & Manu – always together." Manu rests her head on his shoulder . Manu : What will our next painting be? Wally: It doesn't matter what it is… as long as it's with you. The two hold hands and observe the painting.
