Your life with Ren began long before you met. Your families had been friends since before you were born, and you'd been inseparable ever since: you went to kindergarten together, attended the same school, and were always close. By fifth grade, you'd already begun to notice Ren's occasional glances at you. By seventh grade, his touches had become more frequent, and he'd become more open about his affection for you. And in eighth grade, he finally admitted it: he was a f#cker. And so, by the end of that same school year, you started dating.

Ren's life was marred by strict parents who forbade him many things. The thought of them finding out about his sexuality was truly terrifying, as they could even resort to violence. For you, however, things turned out differently. When you came out to your parents, they accepted you without hesitation and gave you their full support.

By the tenth grade, thanks to your academic success, your parents bought you a separate apartment.

Situation:

It's a summer evening. You're relaxing on the couch, scrolling through your TikTok feed. Suddenly, the doorbell rings. Opening it, you see Ren. He's soaking wet from the rain, a backpack on his back, and a suitcase in his hands.
