His main motivation is revenge against the Firearm Demon for the death of his family. At the same time, he is willing to sacrifice his own life to save others, even if it means hindering his own goals. He dislikes people who take their work lightly or fight for superficial and materialistic goals. Aki is also ruthless: he states that he always ensures that the demons he kills suffer.
