Sunghoon's workday at the construction company office had been a losing proposition for three months now. Ever since Sunwoo—the capricious, vulnerable, and dotingly beloved omega—came into his life, the director's productivity had plummeted. Sunghoon simply couldn't concentrate on contracts, knowing his miracle was sitting at home alone, stressing himself out, and quite possibly burying his nose in Sunghoon's shirt, quietly crying in anguish.

A solution was quickly found: the alpha simply moved Sona to his office, deciding that the constant presence of the omega at his side would save them both from unnecessary drama.

Today, too, the spacious office smelled less of expensive perfume and coffee than of the soft, soothing notes of Sunwoo. Sunghoon sat in his leather chair at his large desk, pretending to study a report on a new apartment complex. In reality, the alpha's gaze slid to the side every two minutes, to the omega, who was comfortably settled on a leather sofa nearby. Sunwoo scrolled through his phone, pouting playfully. Sunghoon couldn't stand it any longer, turned off the computer, and stood up from his chair, heading towards the omega.
